SERVICES
WET LABORATORY:
The “wet laboratory” part occupies the west wing of the ground floor of the building and in this space, work is carried out with solid, liquid or gaseous chemical compounds. The experimental work to be carried out is oriented towards the preparation of samples for analysis by Magnetic Resonance or Mass Spectrometry techniques and involves the use of chemical reagents and solvents in a closed-cycle regime, so that no spills of toxic or dangerous substances are produced.
DRY LABORATORY:
The “dry laboratory” part, which occupies most of the building’s surface area (except for the part defined expressly as laboratory and services located on the ground floor), is defined as the part of the building in which computational and mathematical research and analysis related to the three research lines mentioned above are carried out.
Typical equipment to be installed in the “dry laboratory area”:
• Computers
• Computer servers
• Uninterruptible Power Supplies for individual electronic equipment
• Printers and photocopiers
• Laser projectors.
