ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Mestrelab Research S.L. has been awarded a grant to create a new business research center within the Galician R&D&i ecosystem, as part of the strategic priorities of the RIS3 for Galicia, under file code 001_IN853D_2022. The goal of this project is to accelerate research for the design of new high-value digital tools for the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors in Galicia.
This initiative is funded by the Xunta de Galicia, through the program of grants to companies for the creation and integration of new business research centers 2022-IN853D, subsidized by the Axencia Galega de Innovación.

PROJECT RATIONALE
The main objective of the Mestrelab Research Center (CIM) is to meet the growth needs of research carried out by the company and its strategic partner Bruker, while also providing a common space for other important actors in the research and innovation ecosystem in the biotechnology field of the Compostela area.
The strategic collaboration between Bruker Inc (NSDQ:BRKR) and Mestrelab Research SL is focused on advancing scientific software to a new generation/level, fully integrating analytical instrumentation into the laboratory workflow and leveraging digitization, cloud technologies, robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence to change the paradigm of work in pharmaceutical, biotech, and chemical research and development laboratories.
Within this framework, Mestrelab and Bruker have a growing need to carry out fundamental research in these areas, which will feed the pipeline of products and solutions that these companies offer to the global market.
